FAQ
How quickly will you inspect the home?
Most rental homes are inspected at an Open Inspection as dictated by the managing estate agent. Our trusted local relocation agents will inspect the home at the earliest opportunity.
How much does it cost?
We have a range of services that you can choose from. A quick one off EXPRESS4U or more comprehensive plans to cover all eventualities. You can find out more about our services here or request a quote.
Do you guarantee that we will be approved on the home you inspect?
The rental agents shortlist applications that they will present to the landlord, it is the landlord that has the final vote of who will occupy the home. Our job as your relocation agents in Australia is to help you to make sure your rental application is prepared well and we work with estate agents to understand their landlords priorities. Our success rate is above 96% in having our clients applications shortlisted.
Do you send us photos of the house?
Our Australian relocation agents will send you a video of the home so you can easily understand the floor plan and size of rooms. Photos are taken of the kitchen appliances and laundry layout, as well as anything in particular you might have requested that we check.
Do we get to choose the homes you inspect?
Our work is definitely about teamwork. We work with you to shortlist and we only inspect homes that you have agreed to us inspecting. We are 100% transparent and honest with you during the shortlisting and inspection phases.
Do you only work with some estate agents?
No. Australia has a rental shortage. On average, a home is only advertised for 16 days. If we only work with a handful of agents, they might not have a home available when you need it. Although we do work closely with many agents and look at their off market listings, we can not offer you a comprehensive shortlist if we only work with a few agents.
How far in advance should we engage with you?
Some of our internationals are talking with us a year in advance, others only hear of us when they arrive onshore – which is sad, because they could have avoided the cost of the hotel. For our EXPRESS services, we do need at least 2 business days notice.
Do you offer payment plans?
For our international customers who have contacted us in advance, we can set up a payment plan. This is interest free and can be divided into 2, 3 or 4 payments. Talk to us to find out more.
When do I have to pay for the service?
We only ask for 50% upfront and the remainder is paid either once your rental home is approved or when you arrive in country. As you can appreciate, our local relocation agents incur costs to drive and inspect homes, prior to your arrival, so we need to cover those costs, but also give you the peace of mind that we are not expecting you to pay the full amount before we start working.
